I don't guess there's a way to tally up the miles these two have traveled between them the last 50 something years. Two living, breathing, legends....Ray Price and Earl Scruggs.

Quite a quartet with Hazel, nephew Smiff, Buddy Killen and Bob McLean

Ray Price meets Sista Smiff...."Is your mother Shirley?" (He didn't say that, but, I bet you he was thinking it)

Woo hoo. Rubbing elbows with the rich and Hall of Fameus! I just love knowing someone who knows someone!
I'm so terribly jealous.
VERY JEALOUS.
I dig me some Ray Price.
"For the Good Times" is one of my very favorite songs. Ray is the mack daddy. I've never met him, but along those lines, I've met Eddy Arnold a few times. What a great generation of music. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
Do notice my mouth is open...as usual. I'm sure something very intelligent was coming out of it.
Bob McLean is the guy who bought both Mother Maybelle's guitar and Bill Monroe's mandolin and gave it to the Hall of Fame.
Did you know that before he became the Tree mogul, Buddy Killen was Ray Price's bass player AND he is the one that did the snaps on "King of the Road?"
