The Many Faces of Mr. Smiff

Producer J and some of her co-horts have this idear that Mr. Smiff doesn't smile much. Now, it is true he is not a Guy Smiley onstage. He is responsible for keeping the band in time. If he drags, then the whole band will drag. The truth is, he smiles a lot onstage when he and Bobo get to doing their thing, which mostly consists of inside jokes that are nearly 20 years old.

Anyhow, J has some pictures up at her place where this psychological evauluation has commenced.

One thing Mr. Smiff DOES do onstage is chew gum and play bass at the same time. It seems to be bothersome to some out there. (A cousin of his and a cousin of mine seem to have issews with it). I think it's part of his charm. Part of his Smiffyness.

Ok, you must admit... there are not alot of smiles in these photos either!

Except for that one with the pretty girl on his lap. I think he likes her! ;-)

I have not noticed the gum chewing thing. Although it does drive me crazy when Toby does it interviews and smacks it really loud.

Joyce,
I do need to work on that smiling thing, in photos and what not. But there is another time I smile. When I realize the Grascals and myself will be visiting with you and Kyle. You guys have been great friends of ours and we appreciate both of you very much! Now I hope I brought a smile to your face today!..Terry (Mr.Smiff)

Awww... I'm smiling big enough for both of us Mr. Smiff! Thank you. You know we love all six of yas!

You two are just too darn cute. Although I've yet to ever see you both in the same place at the same time...

Had to pop in and say that I have to agree with Joyce...not too many smiles in those pictures, although I can see a hint of one in the third picture.

...and I don't think I want to know the circumstances under which that last picture was taken!

Anyway, the lack of a smile is not a horrible thing...it just adds a little mystery.

Ah you girls are so funny. I kinda purposely put pictures of him not smiling or making weird faces.

Without your disclaimer, an innocent bystander just glancing at these pics could get the idea that Mr Smiff was not happy unless he had you (or the cat) in his arms.

With your penchant for posting pics, maybe the whole family will smile and be more 'photogenic' when the camera is pointed their way, like my granddaughter who shows all her teeth instinctively when she hears the camera click on or sees one in the room...LOL

On a side note, I have -tried- to not be annoymous, but I failed miserably in signing up with blogger the other day. Maybe with more sleep, I can be successful soon.

I think I have one of him smiling on the stage at Milan Michigan a couple of weeks ago. Let me know if you want it.
